National Geographic 2014 포토 컨테스트 우승작들
지난 2014년 내셔널지오그래픽 포토 컨테스트의 우승작 중에는 아주 흥미로운 작품이 있다. 적게는 수십만원 많게는 수천만원에 이르는 DSRL이나 고급 디지털 카메라가 아닌 스마트폰으로 촬영한 작품인데도 불구하고 컨테스트의 ‘People’ 카테고리에서 당당히 우승을 차지했기 때문이다.
‘People’ 카테고리에서 우승을 차지한 이 작품의 제목은 ”A Node Glows In The Dark” 이며 홍콩의 사진 작가 Brian Yen이 홍콩의 ‘오션 파크(Ocean Park)’에서 스마트폰을 이용해 촬영한 사진이다. 묘한 컬러의 대비와 사람들의 표정이 잘 어우러지는 이 작품은 9,000개가 넘는 경쟁작들을 물리치고 최종 우승을 차지하였다.
